We found out how to make these little guys over on Darby's blog. I was shocked at how long it kept the girls' attention! It's no easy task putting on all those little eyes and noses but they loved it!
They also loved the crib I found at the thrift store today. They had it swinging around all kinds of ways. At least we know it's sturdy:) I'm going to sand it and paint it white (I think).
We've got to name this baby! I think we are getting closer but then again I thought we had it narrowed down to two when we found out it was a girl. Wrong!
Names we like:
Amelia
Casey
Lilah
Evan
It wouldn't be any surprise if we went with none of the above. Sigh. I love old names that you don't hear very often (see names I like below). Casey is a name that we both like even though it isn't necessarily an old name or too uncommon. Evan is a pull from Evelyn which Jonathan really likes but I'm iffy about (we're trying to compromise here:).
Names that I like that Jonathan has vehemently vetoed: Adelaide, Emmeline
Name that Jonathan likes that I have vehemently vetoed: Journey (no comment)
Any suggestions? Comments? We'd love to have your input!

sorry jd, but i'm glad jess vetoed journey. def not my favorite.
Maybe you should name her Corrine and call her Corie? I love that.
But out of your names that are on the table I like Amelia and Lilah a lot!!
So fun! When I was pregnant with Abbie I really wanted an old name too. Although my husand said no to Margaret! I still think it's cute.
I love all the names!! Even journey, although she would sound like a little rock band. :)
ROTFLOL!!!!!!!!!
Oh my gosh--Journey! that is so funny.
Picking a name is SO hard!
Can't wait to hear what you pick!
I love Lilah. Really pretty!
Sofia is one of my favorites. Saranne is a nice old name if you like 2 names in one.
Journey really made me laugh. Sorry but I would have to say no to that one too. Men. :) Gotta love 'em.
My hubby vetoed every name I really liked and now when I tell Whitney all the names I wanted for her she thanks her daddy for saving her. :)
Maybe he knows more than I give him credit for. Hmm.
I love the names you are considering....except Journey. :) Emmaline is one of my favorites. I had the most precious little girl in my class a few years ago with that name. I love it! My "girls names" which I never got to use are Caroline and Hannah. You will pick the perfect name! It is such an exciting time!
I really like Evan. I have never heard it for a girl, and it seems like a name for your daughter (you have always done things your own way)! This child is going to be beautiful. No matter the name, it will be beautiful once attached to her. (You know how that is...the name sort of sounds like the person who bears it.)
