Changes

I'm sleeping alot this week and much more lethargic throughout the day. Ick! I had just went through a period of having to force myself to go back to sleep every morning after I would wake up at 4am and now after I get the girls off to school I'm wanting to come home and nap for another hour. I prefer the other to this. Hopefully it will flip back soon.

We start birthing classes tomorrow and the girls are really excited to spend some time with Nana while we are there. I have great hope that these classes will prepare JD and make him more comfortable for what is coming. He's not looking forward to the labor and delivery part. He's been a trooper and hasn't much mentioned his concern of passing out (during delivery) while I've been pregnant but he said it plenty before the pregnancy that I know his fears:)

Little girl cried (big time) today walking out to the car saying she didn't want to go to first grade next year. She's afraid of leaving kindergarten and Ms. Armstrong, "because she's nice and because I'm good for her." I've also had some concern lately about her starting all over again next year with a new teacher. She's definitely one to test her limits. BUT I have to say, as usual, signs of positive attachment in either of these girls is such a wonderful thing to see.

We had out monthly visit from our social worker two days ago. She let us know that she has two weeks left at DHR before she goes to a different position elsewhere. We are sad to see her go but very thankful that she has been able to see us through to the end. She says that our adoption petition/file is before the judge so while the clerk was not able to tell her an exact date for our case she did say it was the second week in June!

It's gonna be a busy summer!

Thrilled to hear a "date".

Have fun in your classes. We took them the first time around and I guess they helped. I am a big baby when it comes to pain so I asked for an epidural really early each time so I don't guess I didn't needed all that special breathing as much. :) Hubby can stand at your head and he should be fine. They have tvs in the delivery rooms so he can turn on some sports station and have him a good ole time while you do all the work. :) Oh, I know you are so excited. Get you some rest now because when that baby comes...well...sleep...not gonna happen. (It's worth it though). Good to hear the updates.
