Baby Update

Yesterday I went to the OB for a weekly check. No dilation but our baby girl has dropped and is in position for delivery. I have read that with first births babies can drop around two weeks before labor begins. That would be great timing! Jonathan has informed me that he has written (in pen mind you) on his scheduler that I will go into labor at 2:30pm on June 11th. He figures this gives us time to go to court, sign adoption papers, celebrate this long-anticipated adoption with extended family at lunch with just enough time to get to the hospital and deliver this baby! Ha! I told him I would let our little one know that she is expected to appear around that time (but not a second sooner!). We'll see if she listens.
Yesterday the doctor did advise that I have an ultrasound to check fetal growth. Ultrasound was all booked up yesterday so I went this morning. We had the same check three weeks ago as my fundal height has been slightly below average. Three weeks ago this sweet girl was 4lbs and 4ounces. Today she was 6lbs 14ounces! Although this time they did report her as being a bit small, she is growing lots and looks healthy! Tomorrow I will be 38 weeks. It's getting close and we are so excited to welcome our third daughter into the world!
The big girls have been at the beach since Wednesday with GG, Aunt Jaime, and Ella. I'm jealous to not be there too but their absence has afforded me the time to get the house and nursery in order, do some last minute exchanges and purchases and get my bag packed for the hospital. It's also allowed me a few extra hours of sleep and some reading time which I have appreciated greatly!
Here are some photos my sister sent of the girls on the beach:

So JD and I are off to our last date tonight before we become a family of 5. He (my sweet husband) is officially appointed as a minister today! Yea for him! He now is an employee of the conference rather than our church. Hopefully they will not find any reason to transfer him to another church. He assures me this is not going to happen. I trust him:)
