Me: If I was a little girl I couldn't be your mom.
LG: I'm gonna cry, because I want you to be a little girl. We could play all day long.
Me: But if I was a little girl who would feed you and tuck you in at night? Who would put band-aids on your boo-boos?
LG: GG
She's got it all figured out:)
I can't be a little girl, of course but I can play. So this morning while big sister was at music camp little girl and I played (with Lilah strapped on to me in the baby bjorn...what would I do without this thing??? She loves it and so do I!). I'll have to admit, with a newborn around I haven't "played" with the girls as much as before. They haven't seemed to mind at all...they are quite often in their own little world. BUT Lizzie definitely still needs mama's lap and lots of my attention. It's good this week to have special alone time with her while BG is at music camp.
We've been working on picking out clothes lately (when we are just going to be hanging around the house). This can be interesting. Big girl is pretty good at this. Little girl...well that's another story. I often get a good laugh when she comes walking down those steps in what she sees as a beautiful ensemble. For example (ignore the hair...we hadn't quite gotten around to that yet):

I asked her why she chose this. "Because it's so pretty," she said.
Duh, why else?
I'll be back soon with West Virginia news.

I may need to let Lizzie know that 80 miles is a bit of a stretch for every boo-boo and bandaid..especially considering how many bandaids she goes through. But I love her thinking of me that way ...She is a doll... GG's girl(thats what she tells me, and when I say what about Momma? She quickly says,"I'm momma's girl too!") Sweet Lizzie D!! I love her, GG
Love the outfit. Looks like something Blue Eyes would pick out and say it matches because they are both striped. :)
