West Virginia Recap

So much is going on and so little time to update:) School will be back in before we know it and though it will free up more time for me, I know I will miss hearing the girls running around all day long and I'll wonder where the summer went!
Our dad has been out of town all week on the Chicago mission trip and though he is back to us he isn't all in one piece. He and most of the boys passed around a nasty stomach bug while there (he's feeling much better now but not quite 100%) and sadly he was banished to the downstairs bedroom on the night of his return (last night). We miss him but this family wouldn't function if I got sick plus we are headed to the beach (!) in two days and nobody wants to be feeling yucky for that! He got back after we were asleep (4am) and we are all eagerly awaiting his waking so we can see his face. We've missed him!

West Virginia was a quick trip but really good. The nine hour ride up (and then back) was surprisingly not too bad.
The new Leapster was brought out and played by one or another girl probably the entire time we were on the road:

The babe slept alot but was so good to us most of the time when she was awake:

Of course the big girls slept too and I couldn't help get this picture of little girl (click to enlarge and notice the drool down the chin and even her left shoulder! Now that's some good sleep!!):

The wedding was perfect. The bride was beautiful:

And the girls were on their very best flower girl behavior both at the rehearsal:

(Lilah and cousin Logan snoozing)

And at the wedding:

It was a too quick of a trip. We are so thankful to Grandma Dills (JD's grandmother) and Grandpa Rog (JD's dad) for letting us stay and play with them! Grandma Dills even sent the girls home with the coolest dollhouse ever made (by her by the way) with every furnishing you could possibly imagine needing. It has been the girls most favorite play thing and I'm sure it will stay that way!
