busy, busy

If you blink around here you might miss something important. Life and time move at warp speed when kids are involved, no?
JD's been doing some home projects, kicking off the fall with the RUMC youth program, and gearing up to start seminary. Isn't he cute!:)

I am back at work (as of last weekend). It is totally stress free as GG is here with the girls when Jonathan is working. I don't even think the big girls missed me and Lilah was an angel until the 7pm hour and beyond. We'll work on that!
I've also gotten to celebrate with one of my oldest and dearest friends the coming birth of her baby boy (Turner). Congrats Jill!
I started Disciple I on Wednesday nights. All you Methodist people know this course is challenging, and tough, and time consuming. I've been wanting to do it for awhile. I'm excited and hopeful to make it through and learn more about the Bible!

Sam is pulling teeth like it's her day job. I begged her for maybe six months to wiggle her loose front tooth. Then all of a sudden she pulled a tooth three nights in a row. The tooth fairy is broke and I'm begging her to lay off the teeth pulling for a while.
She is a social butterfly! When she is dropped off at school in the morning I always hear someone calling out to her to say hello. She is WONDERFUL with her baby sister (and all babies really). She's started ballet and, my heavens, this child is a ballerina at heart. She loves it!

Lizzie celebrated six! This year at school is much better so far than last. She has come home talking about friends from day one which is a change from last year. That she is growing her social skills makes me a happy momma. She's still Lizzie...talking when she isn't supposed to, having to be told what to do three or four times, etc but it's getting better (and it could certainly be much worse). She started tumbling class and we practice at home:) She loves trying to kick-up into a handstand.

Lilah has gotten so big this last month. We've finally said good-bye to all the newborn clothes and are in 0-3. She's blowing bubbles, arching her back when she's mad, and sleeping 7 and occasionally 8 hours at night. We like it! It's amazing to watch how much she grows and changes. Lately, we all crowd around her in the morning before the girl's get off to school and watch her smile, kick, and coo. PRECIOUS!
