Lord Help Me

Hey JD here. What a day. I took the girls to work with me today, and for the most part things went well. At the same time I am about to drive myself crazy with frustration over some behavioral "opportunities." It blows me away that I can explain something in great detail and then literally 20 seconds later the exact thing I was saying not to do is happening right before my very eyes. Two hours removed from the situation its comical. In the moment not so much. I am sure this is just the normal trend of parenting, but allow me to say it kills me to spend so much time on discipline when I know how much bonding and fun we could be having. At the end of the day I guess thats what being a parent is all about though. Loving them enough to do the hard stuff even when you'd rather blow it off and just have fun.
