Big girl laid out across the booth at Moe's on the night of her birthday stating she had a headache. Sign #1 we were headed for sickness. "Mommy, will water make my head stop hurting? Will taco's make my head stop hurting?" Poor kiddo! That morning at around 3:30am she crawled into bed with us hot with fever and 10 minutes later we were in the bathroom holding back her hair as she was getting sick. Days have been better, though she is lethargic. Again last night she was in bed with us mid-way through the night feverish and crying. We generally aren't a tv watching family but we have watched MUCH in the past few days. A good time for the girls to learn about the Disney characters:) We've watched Dumbo (a first), Peter Pan, and Alice in Wonderland (another first).
Work let me off four hours early tonight which was VERY kind! My mom is coming tomorrow to watch the girls since both JD and I have to work. It brings me so much comfort to know the girls are in good hands. Hopefully she will be well soon (I think so:)!
We had originally planned to have big girl's birthday party today but it was my weekend to work and it wasn't looking like I would be getting off so we went ahead and scheduled it for next weekend. The weather today (snow on the ground) and her health make me SO thankful that things didn't work out the way we wanted them to. Funny how that works, isn't it?

Poor big girl!! One of the worst feelings as a mommy is when you can't make your baby feel better!!
I'm SO glad the party was scheduled for next weekend too; although, the kids would have had fun in the snow!
We can't wait to see you all and celebrate S's birthday!!!
Like the new song!!
