If I'm honest I've just been hanging back...trying to process the wait. Sometimes it gets to me, all the fear and uncertainty and I don't want to bring the negativity and weight here.
And then I find what I need...
One of the kiddos got up at church on Sunday and talked briefly about what they had learned at bible school. He told the story of Peter and Jesus walking on water (Matthew 14:22-33) and how when Peter became afraid he took his eyes off Jesus and began to sink.
Man. I can relate.
I am reminded (again) of where my focus should be. And the rest falls into place.
It doesn't mean all the heavy stuff isn't still there. It just means that I know it isn't in my hands. It means that I know He is so much bigger than me; bigger than JD; bigger than the girls. He has plans for each of us.
It means trusting His plan.
