Two more days!

Two more days to Disney and we are counting it down!!! I cannot wait for the girls to experience the magic of Disney World! I am more excited than they are:)

We had a great weekend with GG, Grand B, Aunt Jaime and Ella on Friday and Saturday.
Saturday night we went to the Foster Parent Night Out hosted by Inverness Vineyard Church. I cannot possibly say enough how nice it was of this church to offer this. Jonathan and I went to dinner while the girls had a fun time (including pizza and ice cream!) with other kids who have families like ours.
Because we are technically still a "foster family" we have to follow the state's rules which say the girls can't stay with anyone unless they are checked out by the state (background check, fingerprints, etc.) which at this point is only my mom. SO, it was nice to have a date night without having to have my mom drive two hours to allow us to do so. Plus, the girls really had so much fun! Good times:) We truly appreciate the kindness of that church.

Anyway, just a quick update.

We hope you will keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as court for TPR (termination of parental rights) happens the first week of June. This isn't about us but about the first family. In other words, we will not be at court, but alot hangs on what is decided there. For the most part we don't even think twice about it. These girls were placed here by the state with the intention of it being a permanent placement. Every once in a while, though, the uncertainty grabs me.

But I have faith. No matter the outcome, I have faith in God's plans. He didn't write the end without writing the means.

Psalm 139:13-18 reads:
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand.
